Are You Just Woofin'?

Duet, where a guy and his lady are singing to each other, and everything they're saying is tongue in cheek....a lot of BS going down.

Sweet Big Time is a collective venture between singer/composer twin brothers, Mitch and Mark Flanagan, and lyricist Tommy Ogren. Also singing are Jennifer Flanagan and Mary Rose "Rosie" O'Leary. We like to write lots of upbeat, fun music with lyrics that often explore the fun and magic in our lives that is all too often overlooked or taken for granted. We also do a good number of original western songs to appeal to the cowboy or cowgirl in any of us.

Story behind the song
I used to work in a prison and the inmates called a bullshitter, a "woof ticket," because he was always blowing smoke, always bullshittin', or as they said, always woofin'. I thought it would be fun to have a duet with a girl and a guy, both of them woofin' like crazy, as they sing each others praises.
Lyrics
Are You Just Woofin’? @Flanagan/Ogren 2008 Does the sun truly set in my eyes as you say? Or are you just woofin’? Am I really the best, the catch of the day? Or are ya just woofin’? Does your heart skip a beat, every time that we meet? Is loving me really an incredible treat? Or are ya just woofin’? Each verse of the song to be sung by a man, and then over again, by a woman Do you truly love walking hand in hand in the rain? Or are you just woofin’? Do you really love flowers, Beethoven, and Spain? Or are you just woofin’? Every time that we part, do you really suffer great pain? Do you love me more than the grass loves the rain? Or are you just woofin’? Refrain: both man and woman should sing the refrain, together, but don’t sing the refrain until both of them have sung their part… I hope everything that you say is true, I hope you’ll never make me feel blue, and I hope that you’re not like that big old lying wolf, I hope you’re for real, and you’re not just a woofin’. Do you really love my hair and the color of my eyes? Or are ya just woofing? Is everything about me actually the perfect size? Or are ya just woofing? Do you love our hellos and hate our goodbyes? Is discovering me the world’s finest surprise? Or are ya just woofing? Does the sun truly set in my eyes as you say? Or are you just woofin’? Am I really the best, the catch of the day? Or are ya just woofin’? Does your heart skip a beat, every time that we meet? Is loving me really an incredible treat? Or are ya just woofin’?

This is really cute! :) In other words, you're asking "Are you full of crap, or just talking to hear yourself?" LOL!! I've never heard that expression..but it makes sense in the song..and in your explanation. :) Thanks for the friend's add. :)
