Sweet Big Time is a collective venture between singer/composer twin brothers, Mitch and Mark Flanagan, and lyricist Tommy Ogren. Also singing are Jennifer Flanagan and Mary Rose "Rosie" O'Leary. We like to write lots of upbeat, fun music with lyrics that often explore the fun and magic in our lives that is all too often overlooked or taken for granted. We also do a good number of original western songs to appeal to the cowboy or cowgirl in any of us.

Story behind the song
I'd applied for a job I really didn't want...had an interview in a stuffy office with no windows. When I walked out I started to get the words to this song in my head. Have had a lot of dead-end jobs in my day, tedious, boring work inside factories and offices...not for me...give me the wide open spaces...let this old cowboy run free!
Lyrics
Coyboying ain’t gonna make you rich @Flanagan/Ogren 2008 Coyboying ain’t gonna make you rich But it’s good work if ya got that itch You ain’t stuck inside with artificial light You’re out side where the sun is bright Working 9-5 don’t interest me at all I’d rather hang out at the billiard hall No, regular hours don’t hold no appeal I can’t help it, it’s just how I feel Can’t see myself taking no meetings Can’t see myself greeting no boss Can’t see me sitting in a cubicle Fussing all day about profit and loss Got the sun on my back, got the wind in my face, and wouldn’t want to be in no other place, no four walls for me, no sir’ree, this old cowboy has just gotta live free Got the sun on my back, got the wind in my face, and wouldn’t want to be in no other place, no four walls for me, no sir’ree, this old cowboy has just gotta live free Can’t see me punching no time clock Can’t see me stacking boxes of stock Can’t see me getting ordered around Like I was some old basset hound Couldn’t see me working in no factory That just wouldn’t be satisfactory Or counting numbers on a ledger board Or watching a clock and being bored
