Lyrics
Libby's Old Blue Car Lyrics: Nathan A. Baker Music, vocals, keyboards and production: Ian Ferrin Traveling on worn tires and prayers Following Freedom’s Silver Star Has a way of peeling back the layers, revealing Who we really are Night’s reflections fill me with sorrow Memory’s flames begin to grow Jagged lines in my rearview mirror Channel a river’s flow Chorus: There’s a place where love is planted Where freedom’s flag is raised Where peace is found and rest is granted, and love lies Silent in the grave Five hundred miles of road between us Been a while since I’ve gone that far A tank of gas, a few hundred dollars, and Libby’s old blue car Copyright 2014 Baker and Ferrin Photo used under a creative commons license. Enjoyed this from the first note. The trumpet really sets this apart from other songs as it's not an instrument one hears a lot in folkie type music. Playlisted.

Absolutely beautiful in every way. A moving gorgeous song from beginning to end.
