I'm an inspirational rapper. I speak for brothers and sisters of the struggle, who struggle to make it in everyday society.
My name is Damario Russell aka B.O.S(brother of the struggle). I was born on Feb 3 1989. I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC on the Eastside of Charlotte in Sandlewood apartments. And I been rappin since I was in the 6th grade. I used to rap on the school bus for the older kids and they liked my flow. I started writing songs in middle school, and ever since than, I have been trying to master my craft like a Freemason. I started recording when i was 17. I dropped my first album in 2008 called "GD(Growth and Development) MUSIK" VOL.1". I got alot of love from that album. My music is inspirational. you can learn alot from my music that will help you get through struggles and rough times. I speak for brothers and sisters of the struggle. I also rap about what's going on in my life, but I also speak for people who go through alot of struggles in society. My lyrical and poetic ability is what really stands out the most. I like using soulful beats that have a bounce to it. I'm real picky when it comes to beats. If the beat doesn't speak to my soul, then I can't put my heart and soul in my music. I just have to feel it deep down inside. But I mostly like soulful hip hop beats. Those are my favorite. But I also have a sound for crunk beats as well. I always have been serious about my music. It's a hobby for me, but at the same time, it's a form of art. And it allows me to express myself. If I have something on my mind that I want to get off my chest, then I just go and write a song about it. I'm serious about my rap career, But I don't wanna go out of my way and get desperate for a record deal. I'm not gonna rap about shit that doesn't relate to my life. All my music is real and from the heart. I don't have time for being a fake MC just to get paid. I'm not trynna be nobody else but me.
