Welcome to Electrolyte Productions. My name is Reggie Thompson, I am a member of the Society Of Composers, Authors and Publishers Of Canada (SOCAN) and locally have been an established songwriter for the past fifteen years. Some of my works are, 'Nova Scotia's Hands' (lyrics and music written by myself), 'Fisherman's Brew', and 'On That Day' (co-written with Glenn Gordon) which appeared on the Celtic Rock band 'MacKeel' CD Plaid and held the number one spot on Sam the Record Mans Indie chart in Atlantic Canada for more than a year. I've written mainly for bands I've played with and now decided that I want to try and go a little further with it. I'm going to pitch a few out there and hopefully you'll enjoy, or maybe make it your own!

Lyrics
You're All That's Left Of Me I make my way through the mess on the floor Beer cans from the night before It's afternoon and I slept in I missed the garbage truck again Mason jar and a bottle of wine Flipped through the T.V. bout a dozen times The phone don't ring, no knock at the door The silence kills me it's hard to ignore And this freedom thing, well it never flew Thought I'd have it all when I didn't have you Chorus Now I took every little trace of you and me Replaced it with the heartache and the pain Told myself we were through And I tried to steer around these memories left behind But no matter what I do I always find little pieces of you You're all that's left of me Drive-in movie in the back row Same place we used to go She rolls down her window and lights up a smoke I turned to her but she watches the show Dropped her off and I drove away My rear view mirror thought I saw your face She reaches the doorstep and into the light But she just fades into the night And this freedom thing well it never flew Thought I'd have it all when I didn't have you Lyrics & Music by Reggie Thompson(guitars & backup vocals) Jason Brushett(vocals & acoustic) Jim MacKenzie(bass) Barry Smith(drums) Wayne Woodworth(keys)

Very nice. I love this site, but the quality of some of the music on the site is not the greatest. This, however, is very high quality: the lyrics flow well, it's sung in a lower register - which is nice, and the production is great. I knew I'd listen to the whole song after the first few notes. Is this you performing the song or did you have a professional demo done? If you had it professionally done, who did you use because I'd like to use them. Thanks, Brad
