Jim,
I have to say this is my favorite sound from you , rootsy, americana, open and warm, I even like the little but slight off the main beat in the drum track,( in a few places ) the solo electric is very nice love the progression up and down the neck of your solo melody , can't say I would change a thing , the solo really shows your talent as a musician
the familiar chord progression and the acoustic give it a real nice sound is that your MARTIN ? and what kind of mic ? do you have a rack compressor on ? or is it just mic'd ?
Also nice flowing melody and your lyrics fit the style well, this is my favorite kind of music to listen to besides Modern pop. Hey My second wife was that kind of woman to me anyway......
cheers

Excellent production. Like the slide geetar. Yes I can see a little similiarity to Grateful dead. Harmonies are A1 and you got that sound going again. Nice work.

I thought it sounded much better than the Dead, Jimbo. You are too lively, warm and emotional for that drivel. This is a cool mosaic of old and new sounds, familiar and unfamiliar moves, and a clean, warm production. The slide/muted blues guitar duel was worth the price of admission alone. Your guitar solo is pretty hot.
Hope all is well in Berwyn. We are doing OK in Korea. Happy Thanksgiving, and congrats on the excellent track.

Very impressive delivery from Sub's kitchen.Compressed steel gives a great dressing. Also,it's a smash to hear the further development of otherwise eternal chord progression ("As the tears go by" etc.).Sound and production are clean and articulated.Vocals are shinin' bright. What else an aging Sub Cap can ask for the snowy turkey's day ???:)))) Thumbs-up,man!!
Great thanx-givin' Day to U!!!!
yes similarity to grateful dead! one of the best american bands ever!
