The original! Galloping bass, Euro-styled vocals and clever lyrics that play on two different levels. Hit #14 on Billboard's Club Play Chart. "Do you rely on the archer's skill to catch you?"

Eclectic. We took our love for alternative music, our Producer's success in Miami Dance sound, poetry-laced lyrics -- put them all into a blender and hit frappe
Thanks for flying with us! Here's the scoop. Willie Cleer and Rick Munarriz formed the band fresh out of high school. They were signed to Columbia Records just two years later, with Haydee Rivera singing lead. "Voices in Your Head" was released in July, 1989. It peaked at #14 on the Billboard Dance Chart. In March of 1990 "C'mon & Dance With Me" topped off at #35. Later that year "It's Another Holiday" began the first of its seasonal airplays (now past 75,000 according to BMI).Unfortunately, the successful singles and the infectuous holiday hit was no match for the 1990-1991 recession. Columbia dropped many artists, Paris By Air included. Haydee moved to New York, Terri Gil took over. "I'm Serious" was released independently in 1992 and "Mr. President" got favorable rave in Billboard. "Could open new doors," it went. Yep, Hurricane Andrew blew open more than a few doors, destroying the band's studio. Rebuilt and ready, the group released "All Around the Sound" in 1996 which was picked up and distributed in Europe by YYZ Records. 2002 marks a revival, with the band back in the studio to see if recessions or hurricanes can stop them this time!

Story behind the song
Traffic, what a blessing! Willie was caught in gridlock down Miami's 836 Expressway on the way to Rick's house. With time to spare Willie hummed a few song ideas. The chorus flowed and Willie jotted it down (traffic was that bumper-to-bumper). At Rick's house the rest of the song came together. Rick came up with the bass progression and the opening melody line. Willie added the punchy riff. Haydee came over and the song was complete. The Archer in the song, is Cupid naturally. In a genre that had seen it all this one hit a unique chord. The offbeat lyrics and catchy groove gave the song a long shelf-life after its July 3, 1989, release. It wasn't until December when the song threatened the pop charts, petering out at #102. On the Billboard Dance Club Play chart it was another story. Ten weeks. Peaking at #14. Paris By Air had arrived.
Lyrics
Walking through the walls of time Passing Between the lines I am the one Arrows shooting overhead You're looking down instead I am the One Painted pictures in the dark Aiming to miss your mark I am the One I am the One I am the Voices in Your Head You are the one I want instead Do you rely on the archer's skill to catch you? Running with the hands of time So fast it's such a crime I am the One Hoping but to miss the aim Of Cupid's deadly game I am the One I am the Voices in Your Head You are the one I want instead Do you rely on the archer's skill to catch you?
