Song's about a guy who has a job but lives in his car to save money. He's a songwriter, and he's cool...way he sees it, he's just one great new song away from the Sweet Big Time.

Sweet Big Time is a collective venture between singer/composer twin brothers, Mitch and Mark Flanagan, and lyricist Tommy Ogren. Also singing are Jennifer Flanagan and Mary Rose "Rosie" O'Leary. We like to write lots of upbeat, fun music with lyrics that often explore the fun and magic in our lives that is all too often overlooked or taken for granted. We also do a good number of original western songs to appeal to the cowboy or cowgirl in any of us.

Story behind the song
I spend a great deal of time roaming around the USA, living out of the back of my old pickup truck. Lotta people seem to think I'm homeless, and there's no shame in that, but hey, I ain't homeless, I just like to roam around, fishing, rock houndin', and meeting new people. I'm writing new songs as I travel...wrote this one while I was driving down the road.
Lyrics
Don’t call me homeless, ‘cause I live in my car @Ogren/Flanagan 2008 Don’t call me homeless, ‘cause I live in my car Don’t have much, but I got this guitar No, I ain’t rich, and I ain’t a star But don’t call me homeless, ‘cause I live in my car There’s lots a folks, worse off than me They don’t own nothing that starts with a key But I got this automobile, and I’m not blue So don’t call me homeless, ‘cause it simply ain’t true I might be down but I ain’t out My money crop’s just hit a bit of a drought Some day I’ll be someone, to write about I’m sure, beyond any doubt This set of wheels might be all that I got But it’s mine and don’t cost a lot Got no mortgage and don’t pay no rent And it sure does beat living in a tent People say that I just don’t belong And they wonder where did I go so wrong But some day my ship will come along And in the meantime I’ll just write another song
