Lyrics
If a picture paints a thousand words, Then why can't I paint you? The words will never show the you I've come to know. If a face could launch a thousand ships, Then where am I to go? There's no one home but you, You're all that's left me too. And when my love for life is running dry, You come and pour yourself on me. If a man could be two places at one time, I'd be with you. Tomorrow and today, beside you all the way. If the world should stop revolving spinning slowly down to die, I'd spend the end with you. And when the world was through, Then one by one the stars would all go out, Then you and I would simply fly away

the music is so beautifully clear and clean.. very dry like fine wine.. but to contrast that we have your great vocal drenched in warmest fx.. it's so smooth and sweet it's hard to claim heat.. as in HOT.. but that's how you've sung here bobby.. damn you got some tenor chops brother.. you sing as well as you play.. and that's far beyond awesome.. what superlative can we find for this sublime and ripe interpretation of this timeless classic? well timelss no doubt after your new and definitive performance of it.. i think bread would be the first to say you've outdone yourself and them.. nothing to my ear like an awesomely talented AND experienced musician.. WOW! bob man.. glad i didn't miss this... beautiful acoustic work too.. loved the feel and tone of the guitars.. :-)

A first rate cover of one of my favorite Bread tunes from the early '70s. Great vocals and performance. 5 stars all the way. I've got a brand new song out this week you might like. Happy Labor Day, Bill
