Story behind the song
Buck Miner and I (Dan Doshier), wrote a song for Don to perform by way of paying respect to the greatest Hillbilly Band of the 40's and 50's. Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley opened for these guys. They were the best dance band in America for many years. Ask someone over 60 years old they know. The real deal Don Maddox, a living legend.
