Story behind the song
This song was originally entitled "Electric Matt Jam" as a song written for my old bass player for his birhday. I tried to play one of our old song riffs in a different tuning and this mbv thing came out. I hope to one day talk Alison Shaw of the Cranes into laying vocals over a rerecorded version of this song, complete with basslines from the 5th Engine. What's it about? About scoffing at unhappiness for the moments of happiness that were once had and can never be taken away no matter how hard trying times can be.
