Story behind the song
There was a time in my life where i was homeless on the streets of Detroit. Even though I had a Big family-there was 1 point where I wore out my welcome being involved with so much Crap. So I would do to work in the club,get off at 2am and knock on doors to see who would let me in-there were only a faithful few. Most of whom did'nt even know the situation-because I could hide feelings well. Finally made enough money from the club-got my daughter and I a 2 family flat(downstairs) In the hood right on 12th and Clairmount and the rest is history.
