Genre Peak :Electronic based guitar band utilizing drum samplers, loops, melancholy vocals and heavily layered song arrangements.
Genre Peak is an avant electro-pop/rock project founded by Martin Birke in 2005. In 2006 Daniel Panasenko and Stephen Sullivan joined to form Genre Peak into a performance based trio. We incorporate electronica and sampling elements into a modern rock style but also venture into abstract industrial soundscapes and trance enviornments. Metaphorical lyrics are inspired by want, loss , passion and pain.

Lyrics
Lyrics by Martin Birke It takes me over Over and over again Makes me a promise, that it won't keep in the end Give me a reason A reason is somthing to fight for It's always something, that keeps me from reaching the right door You've gone too far this time is running down the wall You've gone too long this night is running to the point of dawn It makes me feel good doing what needs to be done And in my head there, all those feelings They always come down to one You've gone too far this time is running down the wall You've gone too long this night is running to the point of dawn
