Genre Peak :Electronic based guitar band utilizing drum samplers, loops, melancholy vocals and heavily layered song arrangements.
Genre Peak is an avant electro-pop/rock project founded by Martin Birke in 2005. In 2006 Daniel Panasenko and Stephen Sullivan joined to form Genre Peak into a performance based trio. We incorporate electronica and sampling elements into a modern rock style but also venture into abstract industrial soundscapes and trance enviornments. Metaphorical lyrics are inspired by want, loss , passion and pain.

Lyrics
Lyrics by Martin Birke Now I'm betting you're forgetting what was said Between the sheets or where we'll meet before we're dead And it's all in the place of a lifetime's disgrace that was once forseen In the time I have left you can bet as you rest you will melt into me And all the pains so sweet Bring me the world With a time and a word feelings seldom are heard in cacaphony 'Cause when you understand what you're heart will demand you will ache for me And all the pains so sweet Bring me the world
