Story behind the song
Follow up to my song, Whiskey Dreams.
Lyrics
Well, tonight I'm feelin' good, and I never thought I could. But here I am, having a good time. I've got laughter on my lips, and Love at my fingertips, Cause tonight, I'm riding on a whiskey high. (Chorus) I said, "Sing your song to me, Old Jack Daniels or Jim Beam; I won't need her arms to keep me warm tonight. Cause the ladies are all the same, and I've done forgot her name, Cause tonight I'm riding on a whiskey high." If she could see me now, Laughing right out loud, When she left, she thought I'd sit alone and cry. Tomorrow she may be right, But, I feel no pain tonight. Cause tonight, I'm riding on a whiskey high. (Repeat chorus)
