Story behind the song
One Sunday night, January 16, 2000 my pastor, Apostle Richard D Henton (Monument of Faith church in Chicago) preached one of his many sermons (What you need is a breath of fresh air) that impacted on my life. He laid hands on me and prophesized into my life 1 Cor. 2;9 (Eye has not seen...) God reveal to him what had been in my heart, that I had lost so much time and would never regain the anointing that had been on my life in the past. But God spoke through him that God would take me way past where I had been, and that I could not begin to comprehend what God was going to do through me and how he would use me. On that night, I received a refilling of his Holy Spirit. That night I went home and wrote my first gospel song. ( I had written secular songs in the past before being reclaimed to Christ). My inner man was just overcome by the absolute Holiness of Almighty God. All I could hear in my spirit was God is Holy and I want to be like him. My heart was filled with gratitude and my spirit was humbled in the presence of Almighty God.
