Acoustic folk/folk-rock original singer-songwriters.
We are the remnants of a rock, turned folk turned folk-rock band (named "Open Road") that played together in the 70's and 80's. Today, Mark Porro and Vance Grazio continue writing and performing songs in the genre of those singer-songwriters who influenced us. We, along with recently added bassist Mike LaPierre, have formed this performing and recording trio known as "Currier Square" (named after the childhood neighborhood of Mark and Vance). We also collaborate with former bandmates and other musicians in these endeavors (Mark D. Hastings, Craig Whitson among others)

Lyrics
The sound of rolling thunder, startled man and beast alike In a moments time the sky lit up, scorching earth with a single lightning strike When the sun broke free at the break of day, all the crops I had were washed away aw haw Was it a warning from the heavens, a sign of the impending apocalypse? Or a loss of natures balance, that was forcing all of natures scales to tip? Retribution has its place in life as I can attest just ask my wife oh yeah Mother Nature cries, well she cries for the fools/morons down below Mother Nature cries, she can flood your ass or bury you in snow This aint no lie, Mother Nature cries. Well the oceans gotten warmer, and a clear sky is a hazy shade of gray While a forest can burn to the ground in just the matter of a single day Shooting tons of crap into the air, while the one in charge doesnt seem to care oh yeah Mother Nature cries, well she cries for the humans on the run Mother Nature cries, as we stare down the barrel of her gun This aint no lie, Mother Nature cries. As I brace for the next hurricane, tornado flood or wildfire there will be Not a place where you can hide from it if you live inland or by the angry sea If there is no lesson to be learned, well end up one day drowned or burned all right
