My name is Ward and I am the sole musician in "The Speak Easy House Band". These songs are a mix of whatever mood I am in when feeling creative. There is everything from distorted heavy rock, to electric blues, to acoustic folk type melodies. Some of it is instrumental, and some has lyrics. Story behind the song
Song about emotional pain and how some people seem to be craving it . Its like they are addicted. Started out with a drum track, and multi layered tracks and kind of evolved from there, I knew I wanted to do some dive bombs and Van Halen influenced guitar on it, so I threw that in. Lyrics are always an afterthought, I kept them basic and not overcomplicated.
