Introducing the greatest talent ever to emerge from the orange bedroom at my parents house. I play guitar like.... well, like a guy playing guitar. I tickle ivories. I twiddle on the computer. I sometimes enjoy beans on toast for breakfast. And in the cracks between the eating, sleeping, laughing, crying, working, breathing experience that is my life there sometimes slips out songs like these.

Story behind the song
A Word of explanation to non-Brit listeners! According to the Collins English Dictionary inviting somebody to "'sod off" is an imperative verbal slang expression a British person may use to intimate to somebody that they desired them to 'go away' or 'depart'. Although some more conservative people may object to its use, it has now become acceptable in common speech. For example an article in the Scottish Daily Record racing section .... complaining that the powers that be refused to give any information on their horses before a big race... comments; 'Can you imagine Sir Alex Ferguson refusing to say anything on the eve of a big European tie or Tiger Woods telling the media to sod off before a Major?' So... enuff linguistics... about the song.... One reaches points in ones life where you just have to bite the bullet, follow your heart and do what you feel is absolutly the right thing to do. Many of us allow ourselves to be over sensitive to the voices of our critics, sometimes to such a point where it is they who are controlling our path, not ourselves.We all have those moments when we need to declare out loud and proud... "Forget you! This is who I am, this is what what I'm going to do... and if you don't like it you'll just have to get over yourself." Let's face it, there are people around us, who no matter what we do, it's never going to be O.K. with them! If you find yourself in one of those situations, then you may well also want to sing along ...' Sod em all!'
