An amateur Songwriter/Musician a work in progress
I've played in a few cover bands, started off playing lead guitar ended up playing bass, drums and even keyboards a few times and although it was fun never had any great success. I'm now more of an amateur song writer and trying very hard to come up with some songs that might impress someone enough to want to record them.

Lyrics
Love You Down The Years - by Daryl P Hall/ Steve Salterso Today I want to take you Lead you gently by the hand Head out to the beach and write Our initials in the sand The weather is so cold outside Yet we always will stay warm I'll wrap my love around you To shield you from the storm Yes we'll grow old together As life's sea returns to shore Still delighting in each other Knowing we could give no more Chorus I want to love you down the years Share your hopes and fears Be the one you laugh with Travel life hand in hand Though none of it was planned We'll discover new frontiers As I love you down the years Verse 2 Proposals fly 'cross skyways Like the fleeting bird of youth Sweet gestures of my love for you As if you ever needed proof But our love's not bells and whistles Our love's not hearts and flowers Through the scorching sunshine of our days Our love's a cooling shower We'll cherish one another More and more each day If anyone should question me Then hand on heart I'll say Hold on to one another spinning round and round on life's carousel We're not old just getting older We still both have our part to play
