My take on the Spaghetti western...one guitar, whistling.
acoustic finger picking utah solo artist rea avante guard
Avante guard. electroacoustic, finger picking, instrumental guitarist...with the help of other sound input that feels right at the time.
Why Hello there ... and Welcome! I am a instrumental acoustic guitarist. Somewhere a while back, I had a viral/bacterial infection that caused me to lose 1/2 of my voicebox. Since that time I have not been able to sing... my voice just won't do what I'd like for it to. So I became a finger picker...sort of avante guard style. All my music is original, recorded, produced, mastered and marketed by myself.

Story behind the song
1998 – My take on the Spaghetti western…or so I've been told. I don't know what inspired this, but it does have that Clint Eastwood sound…must be the whistling. EBEGBE tuning. addendum 6-11-08 : On my 1st release 'Splorin' Acoustically' ... a revist to this, re-recorded and @ a slower pace. Much better sound quality this time and really, no looping...one guitar part and whistling. addendum 6-13-08 : addeded in a lead guitar part with a little slide flavor... this version will be on cd 4... ‘Fore For Four’.
