This is a piece of melodic rock with a jazz influence, with lyrics that are a bit dark.

It's all just me really. I play all the instruments, mix and master everything, and am to blame if it all goes wrong!
Hi, my name's Ron and this is where I'll be posting my solo stuff. I'm a 55 year old music fanatic with a head full of songs, a few guitars and amps, a computer loaded with a studio programme, and an obsession to get the songs out of my head and into my ears. Eventually I would like to be a part of a loose collection of like minded souls who collaberate over the internet on a variety of musical projects. This is what the other band name on my site is supposed to be about (hence the name-sea of souls!). If anyone out there is interested please email.

Story behind the song
This song was inspired by the experience of a friend of mine who was being stalked by text. I got to thinking about how the creep behind the texts might justify it to himself and this is what came out.
Lyrics
In my head you're here with me You're always with me even though I'm never there with you Running through my dreams, chasing through the stars Imagination helps me to be where I think you are On and on Take a ride to the sun And be free I'm trying to be the best me I can be But living with the rest of me I can see All that I detest in me So I dream How can I make you notice me When I can't see myself You're so alive and I'm so dusty laying on the shelf Try to find the words To set alight your soul But always sound absurd that's my life Dig another hole On and on Take a ride to the sun And be free I'm trying to be the best me I can be But living with the rest of me I can see All that I detest in me and I feel I really need a rest from me So I dream
