Story behind the song
So this is a song that I've been wanting to mess with for about a year or 2. Though like certain things in life the project kept getting pushed back to make way for other things (school, work, other mixes). And then about a month ago I was talkin with a classmate (Laura) and discovered that she was a singer. I then told her about the Dreams To Dream song (how amazing it was) and asked if she could look into covering it for me. So a week or so later she emailed me with the vox and I went to work on whippin up the arrangement for it. A couple of tweeks here and there and you have what's being played here. Dunno why, but bands like Depeche Mode, Erasure, etc. must've been on my mind when I was mixin it together coz it kinda has that vibe, amirite? Anyways, I hope yall dig this lil tribute to the past we whipped up for ya. Lates! PS.
