An amateur Songwriter/Musician a work in progress
I've played in a few cover bands, started off playing lead guitar ended up playing bass, drums and even keyboards a few times and although it was fun never had any great success. I'm now more of an amateur song writer and trying very hard to come up with some songs that might impress someone enough to want to record them.

Lyrics
Lost In The Moment - by Daryl P Hall©2007 Verse 1 I was in a darkened corner Of a very crowded room When I saw a glorious vision Come walking through the gloom I saw your neatly coiffeured hair It was a beacon in that place Then in a second all I saw Was your soft sweet smiling face Verse 2 Then sentences of Spanish Came cascading through the air Alighting on your lips so soft And all I could do was stare As your hips began to move To the rhythm of that beat With exotic moves and sultry sounds I beheld your dancing feet Chorus I was lost in the moment When I first saw you move Lost in the moment That I first saw you groove Verse 3 I was mesmerised by movement As your hips began to grind I couldn't tear my eyes away You almost made me lose my mind My temperature began to rise At such a stunning sight You gave yourself up to the moment In surrender to the night Verse 4 And those pictures live forever now And the best thing that I find Each and every single second Is replayed within my mind If we never meet again I have the memory of that night As you danced, lost to the music And my restless heart took flight Words By Daryl P Hall 2007
