Our greatest treasure is in the fact that God who created the Heavens and the Earth is also a doting father over us. He will not force us but, if we allow, He will guide us. And when the load is more than we can bear. He said "I will carry you"

David was drawn by music at the age of eight. As a teenager, he would sit in his bedroom for hours at a time, singing along with his records. When he realized his ability to sing, he went straight out and joined his high school chorus. At the same time he also began nursing the desire to write music. This led to the practice of keeping a tape recorder on hand, to capture the many song ideas that would visit him regularly. In 1982, David joined the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir. He wasn't there very long before his vocal gift made the way for him to be used as a featured soloist. He faithfully served God in the B.T. Choir for the next ten years. It was there he met and married Debra, his soul mate. In 1993, the Lord led David and Debra to step down from service in the choir. He took them on a wilderness journey that would deepen their relationship with Him and each other, and further cultivate a willing sensitivity to the Spirit of God. In 2011 the Lord allowed David to release his debut CD, “I Will Carry You”. The sensitivity and insight of a Holy Spirit filled heart for Christ, permeates the music and lyrics of all his songs.

Story behind the song
I Will Carry You The title song of this CD project was inspired, in part, through the visit of a friend who was seeking music for their album. After we had parted company that evening, the Lord enveloped me with a warm reassuring sense of His purpose and super-normal provision for me. As a result, I was moved to begin writing a new song. I stayed up working all that night. And by morning He had given me, “I Will Carry You”
