a song about black people
hiphop rap real hot bos nice crunk
I'm an inspirational rapper. I speak for brothers and sisters of the struggle, who struggle to make it in everyday society.
My name is Damario Russell aka B.O.S(brother of the struggle). I was born on Feb 3 1989. I was born and raised in Charlotte, NC on the Eastside of Charlotte in Sandlewood apartments. And I been rappin since I was in the 6th grade. I used to rap on the school bus for the older kids and they liked my flow. I started writing songs in middle school, and ever since than, I have been trying to master my craft like a Freemason. I started recording when i was 17. I dropped my first album in 2008 called "GD(Growth and Development) MUSIK" VOL.1". I got alot of love from that album. My music is inspirational. you can learn alot from my music that will help you get through struggles and rough times. I speak for brothers and sisters of the struggle. I also rap about what's going on in my life, but I also speak for people who go through alot of struggles in society. My lyrical and poetic ability is what really stands out the most. I like using soulful beats that have a bounce to it. I'm real picky when it comes to beats. If the beat doesn't speak to my soul, then I can't put my heart and soul in my music. I just have to feel it deep down inside. But I mostly like soulful hip hop beats. Those are my favorite. But I also have a sound for crunk beats as well. I always have been serious about my music. It's a hobby for me, but at the same time, it's a form of art. And it allows me to express myself. If I have something on my mind that I want to get off my chest, then I just go and write a song about it. I'm serious about my rap career, But I don't wanna go out of my way and get desperate for a record deal. I'm not gonna rap about shit that doesn't relate to my life. All my music is real and from the heart. I don't have time for being a fake MC just to get paid. I'm not trynna be nobody else but me.

Story behind the song
This song is off my album "Struggle Musik" which is coming real soon. One day I was just chillen and smokin a blunt, and I was just thinking about how black people have been so divided and how we show so much hate towards one another these days. And I was just thinking about the civil rights movement and black power movements and how we was so unified back then. We used to be proud to be Africans, but now we proud to be " n*** s". And I just decided to write a song about it.
